PREGNANCY INFORMATION. This provided me piece of mind when I was suprised to find we were expecting twins. My OB didn't agree with the recommended high calorie diet & I couldn't eat that much. In the end, I had twins over 5lbs each & went to 36.5 weeks. Again, parts of book are great with facts backed by medical research journals.

FOR THE DAD. This book was a gift to my husband. It is the "Cliff Notes" to all those other baby books I poured over during my pregnancy. Save some time & money & buy this book. Wonderful humor coupled with pratical advise.

EASILY TRANSPORTING TWINS. AGES 0-12 MONTHS. These are SUPER SOFT & COMFY!!! The material wipes up easily. Seats can get a bit warm so don't over dress your twins. Our twins out grew these at 12 months because they were too tall.

SELF SOOTHING. AGES 0-6+ months. My twins used these in the hospital, so I purchased 10 more & strategically placed them around the house (one in each crib, stroller seat, car seat, bouncy chair, 3 in diaper bag). At 5 months I tried their pink Soothies for my daughter, but the stiffer material was rejected by her. Other pacifiers are "cuter", but just didn't work for us.

I purchased this used & got then ordered replacement tubing, pump pieces through Medela's authorized local dealers. I found it to be more than adequate to start my milk supply for the twins from birth. Invaluable in managing the feeding of twins allowing me to let family/husband feed via bottle & for me to store. The pump helped me to provide my twins with 85% breast milk via bottle or directly.

HELP WITH FEEDING & CONTAINING TWINS. Feedings were a breeze with two boppy pillows. Put both twins in a single crib, each in their own boppy. Feed each with a bottle. When time to burp, give one a pacifier, burp/change the other & switch. Continue feeding.

ENTERTAINMENT & CONTAINMENT. I purchased an older version of this chair & love how it accomodates my twins from birth to toddler & prefer the ones with metal legs. Be sure to get one with a deep enough seat & nice padded bottom for when your kid kicks. Alternatively, you can use 2 tall free standing swings, but that just takes up more space in your home.

GETTING OUT IN THE RAIN. Wonderful for raining climates like Portland, OR.

CONTAINMENT. When the twins started rolling & crawling, I used this snap together gate to enclose them with their toys. Buy it used to save $$. Or skip it & moved to the KidCo gate & extension system. (See my list below)

10 MONTHS OLD+

CONVERTING FROM BOTTLES TO CUPS. My strategy to get the twins to cups was to use items with straws. Milk went into these thermoses which keeps it cool for hours long. Things to note (1) thermos is not leak proof, so only give it to the twins in a high chair (2) dishwasher heat drying will undo the glued based, (3) expect the flip lid to break from being dropped.

HERDING KIDS TO THE CAR. I have these snack cups in the car & only in the car. Filled with assorted crackers, I easily get the kids to put shoes & coats on or walk themselves to the car by saying, "Let's go get your snack cups in the car". The cups keep the kids happy & appetites appeased on car drives.

I LOVE this CD!! Purchased it when my twins were 6 months old. A year later and the kids fall into a march when I bust out the words "Oh when the twins go marching..." The songs are each unique, up beat, & pleasant to listen to over & over again. What a fun thing to have to help your twins learn why they are unique.
