Buy new: $31.99 This is a serious swaddle blanket. I also like the swaddleme blankets but those are more for a quick swaddle when your baby is only minorly fussy. The miracle blanket can work miracles for a very upset baby!

The cotton swaddle me is good for quick swaddles, however it does stretch after a few uses and then doesn't swaddle as effectively. The solution to this is the flannel type material

This is a life changer! Our baby would only sleep in this swing the first several weeks of his life. This fulfills one of the 5 S's in swaying. Usually we had to swaddle him, and sway him ourselves with a pacifier in and then set him in the swing.

Buy new: $8.48 I was against using pacifiers because of the dreaded nipple confusion. This lasted about a week and finally I gave in and gave it to him. If he is sleepy or really upset this thing will really calm him. It fulfills one of the 5 S's of sucking.

I am not sure if these worked or not but our Ped basically said they are safe enough to use with every feeding. It is supposed to bind up gas in the bowel and send it on out with bowel movements instead of getting caught up and causing tummy cramping.

This also has some great soothing smells that come out when you microwave it. Simple and it seemed to work when we tried it

Buy new: $19.99 I had bought this when I was pregnant to use as a birthing ball in labor and delivery. We have gotten much more use out of this since the baby was born. If your baby is extremely upset, do the other steps (like swaddle, suck, swish) and then get on this ball and bounce while holding him. It has only not worked once. This is an extreme method of "swaying" (when looking at the 5 s's).
