Jungle shortening is a great alternative to Crisco or other shortenings because there are no harsh ingredients that would cause an IC flare. It is made from the healthy oils and works well for pastries. It is softer than regular shortening. Earth Balance Natural Shortening sticks and Earth Balance Buttery Shortening sticks are also great, but are not sold on Amazon.

Buy new: $11.00 Another great salt without additives. It is grey in color, but don't be turned off! Those are the essential minerals in the salt. Works only in a ceramic salt grinder (you can always pinch a little by hand). IKEA sells grinders for $6.99 as spice mills. I bought one on chance that it would work versus the $18 dollar ones Celtic Sea salt sells, and it works great!
