Awesome stroller, works great for city streets and steps - great ride, awesome sun shade and rain cover. Rumble seat works great for second baby so you don't have to buy a whole new stroller with baby #2. (Update: With older kid in rumble seat and carseat on this stroller it is difficult to steer. I think it will work better once older kid can sit upfront and baby is old enough to sit in rumble)

Great sheet that is super easy to replace for middle of the night blow outs during the first 3 months! Get two.

Great bouncer chair at a good price! We also have the more exp. rain forest version, but baby liked this one just as much. Another great option is the infant to toddler rocker because when you have baby #2 and your first wants to sit in this chair, it will still fit him!

This playmat is a great addition for the baby to play on after they're "done" playing on their activity mats and when they're more mobile so that little falls don't hurt them... it's also pleasing on the eyes, wish I had registered for it. Heard they also have ones that look like wood tiles that are also really nice looking.

Okay so this is not a "must have" so much as a nice to have ... love this diaper bag... tons of patterns, worth the money, so cute and just the right size. Get the Glazed fabric that is wipable to clean. Update: bag still works great with 2 babies.

These have been the perfect burp clothes, loved them! While we have a few pretty ones for when we are out, these are the real workhorses and super absorbent. We had to buy three packs since our lil guy had GERD but normal babes would prob just need one pack.

Super convenient frame for carseat (as it gets heavy quickly!) to keep in the car for the first six months.

Great for after you stop breast feeding and you need to tote around formula in your diaper bag!

You'll need these starting at 4 months when you start introducing rice cereal and then baby food.

Pack N Play great to keep on main floor to change babies in to start with, or for them to take naps or eventually play in. Also perfect for the road. You don't need a $200 version though.. get the most basic one with a changing station and you'll be just fine!

This is the safest and best way for infants to sleep after you stop swaddling at 3 months or from newborn if they won't let you swaddle. Update: our 21 month old is still using sleep sacks as they are warm and comfy and prevent baby from being too mobile in crib.

Not saying you have to get THIS video monitor, but def. get one with a camera b/c it'll save you from going in if baby is just making noise in his/her sleep and not necessarily waking up .. Update: we had to buy a new monitor for baby #2 that had 2 cameras. May want to consider a model that you can buy an extra camera for when baby #2 comes.

Great tub we started using as infant with sling that makes sure baby doesn't slide while bathing. You can use this over a double sink and its so convenient. At eight months baby is just starting to want to climb out but we ended up using this for first 12 months and then converted to using regular tub.

Awesome invention. Great for feeding baby, for tummy time and then sitting support! Must have for first six months. My breast friend also a great alternative.

Another must the first three months when your'e prone to leaking!

Put this on here as you'll need something to clean your baby with. This is an upgrade from Johnson & Johnson products which we like just fine as well. Cetaphil body wash and lotion are also great super calming products for delicate skin which we've used with our newborn and when our older baby has any rash. (You'll also need towels/wash clothes which are not on this list)

Great to have on hand for any scratches baby gets on face, to put on chin to protect skin if they spit up a lot, so many uses ...

Great pump for moms staying at home who only want to pump occasionally, works very well and super easy to transport.

We found that white noise really helps soothe the baby back to sleep after feedings at night. Great to have one of these in their room or a noise maker especially if you have another kid/dog in the house that might be loud!
