Love this carrier! Began using it w/ dtr @ 12mos. Ergo is better for big babies & toddlers & permits front (facing in only), side & back carry. There is a learning curve-watch the DVD b4 using! Great gender neutral fabric choices. Note:Not well suited for newborns or very small infants (Bjorn is better for that).

The best sling of all - sturdy *and* adjustable. Unlike the Baby Bjorm carrier, you can discretely breastfeed while wearing your baby in this carrier and shields your baby from grabby strangers! Baby sleeps and nurses in this sling all the time. Machine washable and foolproof unlike those babywraps I can't figure out.

The least offensive-looking cradle swing I could find! This item helped soothe my daughter in the early months when nothing else would. Worth every dime for moments of relief when baby was tired and so were my arms!

If you are concerned about being discreet, this will help. Sometimes no matter what you do, u feel like one big billboard that says, "Look at me! I'm breastfeeding my babe under this big tent!" but really it's not so bad. This was the least loud, attention-grabbing nursing cover I could find.

Fave all-in-one(AIO)/hybrid cloth diapering system for use from newborn to toddler. Shells come in ltd color choices, but are well made & easy to use-albeit lil' pricey. Start-up costs offset by longterm use & a clear conscience (no diapers in landfills!). I don't recommend the flushable inserts b/c they disintegrate quickly when soiled! But as an AIO, they are near perfect.

Best diaper cream no butts about it. Beats A,D&E cream b/c it is a better barrier to rash prevention. To treat an existing rash, try GroBaby Magic stick.

Best for babe & family! Don't bother with Dreft or any other baby soap. This stuff is biodegradable, fragrance-free, and doesn't even require use of any fabric softener. Gets stains out incl poopy cloth diapers & coffee stains on delicates. No residue. Love it!

Sun exposure is not rec for babes under 6mos, but after that if your little one is going outdoors this sunscreen is TOPS. Rated one of the best by the Environmental Working Group, I carry it w/me at all times (also avail in stick form for easy carry).

Babe has played with these for over a year now & bath time just wouldn't be the same without em. They stick on any surface and are anti-bacterial. The frog container is cute & convenient, if you don't mind having a toy collection on your shower wall - we don't!

I use this not for pacifiers, but to attach toys, teething rings, etc. to the Baby Bjorn baby carrier for baby to play with. Also great for attaching toys to high chair covers when baby begins throwing toys to the ground.

A gender-neutral, well-made Cuddle Doll that is machine washable. "Dolly" goes everywhere with us. Kathe Kruse dolls are pricey but handmade and use only natural materials. We love them and they make great shower gifts for new moms. Super cute. Wish it came in more skin colors.

While babe never did use a pacifier, she does like to teethe on these when the teeth are really aching (and the Hyland's homeopathic tabs ain't doing the trick).

Haba scores again. Non-toxic, washable wood chew toy that fascinates babe as she gets older. Love all of Haba's wooden toys - only wish their plush line of toys were more racially diverse (only white folks live in German HabaLand as far as I can tell).

Great toy: washable, non-toxic and sensory/motor skills engaged. My toy-buying is motivated by two factors: 1) What is its lifecycle? i.e. not limited to just a few months worth of play) and 2) Is it safe/non-toxic, (preferably "green") and tech-free? I gift this item so often I should earn loyalty points.

Best walker available. Sturdy & not hard to look at. Baby learned to "walk" pushing this wagon at around 9-10 mos & soon learned how to climb inside while we push her. At 15 mos, she still loves it & dolls ride or sleep in it. Worth the big bucks & hands down safer than the plastic knock-offs.

Bumpkins bibs rock. PVC-free and cute to boot. Good smaller size that doesn't engulf your infant or toddler.

If you cosleep and your bed doesn't fit wall-to-wall, chances are you will need one, if not two, of these contraptions. Minor adjustments are needed (pack blankets inbtwn rail and bed to prevent babe from getting stuck) but otherwise, this makes our bed secure as possible.

It's a given you'll need to drink lots of coffee to stay awake! This tumbler keeps it warmer longer and has a press-and-seal, easy to sip but impossible to spill lid (important for grabby hands that want to snatch or throw mom's coffee mug!). Pricey but well-made & durable. My husb & I fight over ours.
