![]() | Raw Food Made Easy For 1 or 2 People by Jennifer Cornbleet
Buy new: $12.08 / Used from: $9.34 Since I am the only one changing their lifestyle - the kids get the benefits by proxy, I needed a recipe book that did not create too many servings. I am only home on the weekends so I cannot even try to refrigerate left overs.

![]() | Ani's Raw Food Kitchen: Easy, Delectable Living Foods Recipes by Ani Phyo
Buy new: $13.26 / Used from: $7.94 I was completely enthralled by the history of this author. She lived the majority of her life on raw foods, so I really enjoy her experience as it affects her books and recipes. She is also a big fan of simple processing - not a lot of dehydrating going on in this book. I enjoy her different take on this lifestyle.

![]() | The Complete Book of Raw Food, Second Edition: Healthy, Delicious Vegetarian Cuisine Made with Living Foods * Includes More Than 400 Recipes from the World's Top Raw Food Chefs
Buy used from: $7.04 This is a great reference book. It has more natural, whole foods recipes than dehydrator and vita-mix recipes. I remember this book being on the shelf eons ago and never gave it a second look. After a revision it is simply the best no non-sense type of tome that should be on every raw foodist's book shelf.

![]() | Navitas Naturals Chia Seeds Aztec Superfood, 16 Ounce Pouch
Buy new: $9.69 Chia is hard to initially eat. First of all, you have to get the Scooby Doo Chia Pet image out of your head. Secondly, you have to understand that even though chia starts out as a dry seed, it ends up tasting like mini-tapioca pearls. In fact, some books use chia seeds to make a raw bubble tea. This is by far a staple in my raw diet, jelly-ness and all.
