Buy new: $34.24 You're gonna see these a LOT. Why? Because they're essential to cloth diapering on a budget and because they make the best burp cloths. Plus, they're incredibly reusable! Currently, some of the liners I put in the baby's diapers were used to burp his older sister at the same age.

Skip the flannel recieving blankets and go for the waffle weave instead. They're bigger and stretch more, making them easier to swaddle baby in. Skip the swaddle wraps and just stock these instead. After all, every baby needs blankets.

It's super easy to turn on and the baby recently figured it out at 6 months old. Now he turns it on when he wakes up in the middle of the night to sooth himself back to sleep.

Clothes are a big one. Buy second hand or borrow from friends/family if you can. Stock up in 0-3 months and up and get only a few pieces in newborn. Baby's going to grow and FAST. Chances are, a lot of those adorable full-price outfits aren't even going to be worn.
